Sydney Vail - Artist

   I joined the Rockwall Art League nine years ago and served on its board for several years. Also, I was a representative to the Rockwall County Alliance for the Arts. Among the artists I have worked with are Laura Whitmore, Tommy Ledford, Cecy Turner, Joan Fenicle, Angus MacPherson, Becky Parks, and Colley Whisson.

  Most of my life has been a Southwestern Pilgrimage, and I have a special joy in painting Southwestern landscapes. I also like to paint architecture, nautical scenes related to Martha's Vinyard, and now after a two week sojourn there, scenes of Provence, France.
